Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel offers a unique experience with extremely interesting but very small rooms. The service was excellent and friendly, especially with directions and ordering taxis. The location, though a bit far from downtown, provides a comfortable and clean setting on an island just minutes from public transportation. The dining was very nice and fresh with attentive service. Overall, a place with unconventional rooms but great service and dining.
Staying on this lovely little semi-rural island only 4 T-banna stops from the center of Stockholm was a unique experience. The rooms, though small, have a charming historical touch, being original cells with comfortable beds. However, don't expect much space due to the cell layout. The bathroom, sized like a cell, offers all necessary amenities. The location, although beautiful and serene, is a bit far from the center.
My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-equipped, offering great value for such an expensive city. However, they tended to get a bit warm during sunny weather. The service was outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff, impeccable housekeeping, and a lovely welcome drink. The location, although a bit far from downtown, is situated on a beautiful island surrounded by water, offering a serene atmosphere. The dining experience was fantastic, with a rich and high-quality selection that included both cooked and continental delights. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a unique prison museum under the hotel roof.
The hotel offers a unique experience being slightly out of the center but surprisingly quiet. The rooms, resembling converted prison cells, are very clean although tiny even for one person. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, making suggestions for nearby restaurants and assisting with directions. The dining options are varied and impressive, but ordering coffee can be costly. Overall, a convenient and intriguing stay for those looking for tranquility near the city.
The hotel offers an unusual yet intriguing experience with prison-themed rooms overlooking the old exercise yard. The accommodations are compact but very clean and well-equipped, all at a great value.
I absolutely loved my stay at this unique hotel. The rooms had a 'nice & comfy' prison atmosphere, staying warm and cozy, although the separate beds were a slight inconvenience. The view overlooking the old exercise yard with the waxworks guard was a cool touch.
What can I say? The hotel's location is pretty cool, close to nature and easy to access. The rooms, though a bit small, are surprisingly practical, but they can get a little cold. Service was impressive with friendly staff, offering to make me a Caesar's salad even if it was a tad creamy. The dining was tasty but watch out for those machine-made juices. Oh, and the island setting adds a unique touch, but being away from central Stockholm can be a small inconvenience.
The hotel rooms, although small and somewhat resembling prison cells, surprisingly offer a comfortable stay, especially in the double room with bunk beds. The service provided was friendly and warmhearted, making our morning experience pleasant. The location, while slightly off the main city, provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The dining experience was excellent, offering a wide selection that saved us from venturing out for lunch. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money.
The hotel offers a unique and cozy stay in ex prison cell rooms, which though snug, are clean and warm with a nice prison atmosphere. Don't expect ample space due to the size, with two bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom. The service was excellent, with super helpful and friendly staff. The location is beautiful, with a beach right in front of the property and a trendy area just a 10-minute walk away. Overall, a value-for-money stay with pleasant facilities and a welcoming ambiance.
The hotel rooms are thoughtfully designed, ensuring you won't miss a thing despite their small size and lack of a view due to high-up cell windows. However, the absence of adjustable air ventilation or air conditioning in 29-degree Stockholm weather and the missing kettle were a bit inconvenient.
I had a cozy stay at the hotel with its small rooms featuring bunk beds and ensuite bathrooms. The daily cleaning service with fresh towels and sheets was a nice touch, although space is limited. The service was overall great and friendly, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful stay on a charming island. The dining experience offered a good selection, although some improvements on the fruit options could be made. The location was perfect for exploring the trendy area and enjoying serene walks along the island's coastline.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were well-appointed but on the smaller side, especially for a single room. Despite that, my friends had a double room that was spacious and comfortable. The location, although not ideal in terms of proximity to the center, offered a great vacation spot, especially for those with a car. The dining experience was enjoyable with a good selection, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
